A truly authentic
In 1904, when a railway line was planned for Gstaad, Hans and Rosalie Reuteler understood that this little mountain village had the potential to become a sought after holiday destination. In 1910 the Park Hotel Reuteler opened its doors as the first five-star hotel in Gstaad.
Gstaad village, located at 1,050 metres, is an alpine jewel situated in the Bernese Oberland. Internationally acclaimed, it is known as a prestigious holiday destination synonymous with stylish charm and discreet understated luxury.
Gstaad offers activities to suit all tastes in both summer and winter. In summer, enjoy the golf courses, the hiking trails, the climbing walls, fish and swim in the lakes or immerse yourself in a cultural activity such as visiting the impressive cheese grotto home to 3,000 wheels preserved deep underground.
For a mountain village that believes in its traditions and has remained authentic, one could say that Gstaad has more in common with a thriving metropolis.
